130 x 23 x 17 cm
The main theme of “Stiff Milk” revolves around an abandoned house. The symbols of home, which are elements of interiors and everyday objects in Olszowy’s works, may seem ordinary but hold profound existential meanings. The installation hovers between the realms of dreams and reality. The certainty of the breakfast cup with prancing milk is questionable. However, it exudes nostalgia intertwined with the experience of homesickness and the sense of helplessness when confronted with the necessity of leaving it behind.
