Weronika Lucińska’s work centers on water as a symbol, element, and material. She is captivated by its physical and chemical properties, as well as its presence in culture. The installation explores the element’s ambiguity, its simplicity and complexity, and its connection to the origins of life and the inherent dangers it possesses.
“Icebergs” represents not only the various states of matter but also alludes to fragility in the face of climate catastrophe. The artist conveys this message through the use of delicate ceramics as her medium.
