The latest episode of the artim film series introduces a new thematic thread focused on art collecting, notable collectors, and the narratives behind their collections.
The film’s protagonist is Wojciech Fibak – a passionate art enthusiast, patron, and one of Poland’s most significant art collectors. Since the 1970s, he has built a collection that includes works by École de Paris artists such as Mojżesz Kisling, Eugeniusz Zak, and Alfred Aberdam, as well as postwar avant-garde figures like Tadeusz Kantor, Jerzy Nowosielski, and Henryk Stażewski.
His collection also showcases younger-generation artists, including Rafał Bujnowski, Tomasz Ciecierski, Anna Orłowska, and Karolina Jabłońska. The collection’s distinctive character lies not only in the selection of works but also in Wojciech Fibak’s personal commitment to promoting artists and fostering connections between the art world and the general public.
