In his artistic practice, Krzysztof Gil (b.1987) explores historical themes related to the exclusion and oblivion in the history of the Romani people. He specializes in drawing, painting, installations, and graphics, while also lecturing at the Faculty of Art at the Pedagogical University in Krakow.
His artwork has been showcased in institutions such as the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) in Berlin, BWA Wrocław, BWA Tarnów, Gallery Szara Kamienica (Kraków), MWW Museum of Contemporary Art Wrocław, l’étrangère Art Gallery in London, and Akademie der Kunst in Berlin.
