The exhibition JAM POSEŁKINI JEGO. The Language and Emotions of the Polish Middle Ages at the Palace of the Commonwealth in Warsaw showcases the oldest monuments of Polish language and culture, portraying the Middle Ages as an era rich in emotion and imagination. Sculptures by Sasza Wiktor, a contemporary artist inspired by medieval iconography, develop motifs found in historical manuscripts and translate them into large-scale works. The convergence of two perspectives – that of the contemporary artist Sasza Wiktor and that of curator and medievalist Dr. Łukasz Kozak – creates a narrative about the enduring vitality of the medieval legacy.
