Sasza Wiktor (b. 1984) lives and works in Warsaw. He is a self-taught artist whose practice draws on a broad spectrum of iconographic and stylistic references. His sculptural objects evoke echoes of ancient vases, motifs from mythology and the Bible, as well as surrealist and expressionist elements, alongside inspirations from theatrical masks and Chinese ceramics. These visual narratives intersect within his artistic practice, giving rise to hybrid objects in which the boundaries between forms become blurred. His visual explorations culminate in representations of passionate frenzy, often approaching theatrical intensity.
