Sławomir Elsner (b. 1976) is a Polish artist living and working in Berlin. He studied at the Kunsthochschule Kassel, graduating in 2002. His practice encompasses drawing, painting, and photography.

Sławomir Elsners’s work explores how images shape our perception of reality. He is interested in visual memory, aesthetic conventions, and the processes through which images are transformed and reproduced. Many of his works reflect on how media and visual culture influence our understanding of historical, social, and political events, blurring the boundaries between documentation and aestheticization.

His work has been exhibited at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, Kunsthalle Krems, Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin, Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Belgium, Marc Jancou Contemporary in New York, and the Böttcherstraße Museums in Bremen, among others. His works are also included in the collections of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, the Rubell Museum, me Collectors Room Berlin, and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
