Wojciech Sadley (1932-2023) was a post-war artist and one of the most significant contributors to the Polish School of Textiles. Wojciech Sadley’s actions and approach elevated textile art to an autonomous form of art with sculptural-spatial values.

His works can be found in numerous museum collections in Poland and around the world, such as the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, the National Museum in Warsaw, the National Museum in Poznań, the Arsenal Gallery in Białystok, the Silesian Museum in Katowice, the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, the Toms Pauli Foundation in Lausanne, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, and the Museum Bellerive in Zurich.
