Tamara Berdowska is a painter and author of artistic installations. Mesmerizing op-art geometric abstractions are a reflection of her innermost feelings and thoughts. For the artist, the creative process is an entry into a trance, a rhythmic mantra of repeated forms that diverge from reality.
Scholarship holder of, among others, the Ministry of Culture and Art, Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver (Canada), and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation (New York). Tamara Berdowska’s works are included in various collections in Poland, such as the National Museum in Szczecin, the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow, and the Museum of the Archdiocese in Katowice. Her works are also featured in international collections, including the Museum Kulturspeicher in Würzburg, the Museum in Bochum, and the Mondriaanhuis Museum in Amersfoort.
