Julia Curyło (b. 1986) is a painter and the creator of artistic installations and public space activities. Julia Curyło’s painting is replete with symbolism. The roots of her work can be mainly found in surrealism and neo-pop art.
The artist frequently draws inspiration from pop culture and science, reinterprets traditional painting themes, and reflects on the role of religion and metaphysics in the contemporary world.She is the winner of the Grand Prix of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, as well as a special award from the BWA City Gallery in Bydgoszcz.
