Storm

State Art Gallery in Sopot
12 June – 16 August 2026

On June 12, Marcin Janusz’s solo exhibition, Storm, will open at the State Art Gallery in Sopot. The exhibition explores a world in constant motion, repeatedly losing its balance only to regain it again. Marcin Janusz presents this world through a fairy-tale lens, shaped by myth and imagination.

Growing tensions, unspoken anxieties, and the oscillation between collapse and renewal characterize the conditions accompanying contemporary life: migration, climate anxiety, as well as encounters, exchanges, and rebirth. In Storm, nature takes center stage as an active force that co-creates both the inner and outer landscapes of modern humanity.

The artist guides viewers through three realms – water, ice, and desert heat – revealing distinct rhythms of loss and transformation. Boldly experimenting with materials such as sugar, resin, and earth, he creates works that engage all the senses.

The dela.art collection and Eneris are pleased to be patrons of this exhibition.
