Mark Dion (b. 1961) – an American conceptual artist who explores how ideologies influence our understanding of the natural world, history and knowledge. The aim of his work is to question the dominant ecological narrative and break the ways it is perceived.

In his artistic projects, Dion often collaborates with institutions that promote awareness of the natural world. His works have been exhibited in institutions such as the Tate Gallery in London, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Weisman Art Museum in Minnesota.
